We've had a wonderful month of fun around here! School is keeping me VERY busy this year, but I really enjoy my new students. They are especially sweet! I truly love my job and know that it is what I was destined to do.
The boys are growing like crazy and learn something new every day! I miss them during the day, but treasure our evenings together. Bath time is great! They now bathe in the big tub together and love it! Jack squeals at ear -piercing levels and Will likes to stand up and play. Jack recently has taken to diving over the side of the tub. It's a game to him, but I end up soaked!
Both boys are pulling up on things and love to stand and play. Will is more of a dare-devil and stands more, but Jack is capable. He's just more reserved. We keep them in their "cage" most of the time, so we can turn our backs without worrying, but the boys LOVE it when we give them free reign to crawl around. They do laps around the house and giggle the entire time. Both are quite speedy now! We are in trouble when they start walking!
Bad hair day!
I thought it would be funny to put buckets on their heads. It was!
Pretty soon we will be coming up to the year mark of going into the hospital. We are so blessed that the boys held on so long and are doing as great as they are. We can't believe how well they are doing! I had a moment the other night, where I was reading a lady's blog who had a 24 weeker. I was bawling! I just can't even express how blessed we feel. It was such a scary time in our lives, but it all turned out fine. We had to take the boys for head ultrasounds this month because our doctor was concerned that their heads had grown so much in a short amount of time. I guess it's somewhat common for preemies to get fluid in their heads, but luckily that wasn't the case. The doctor said the just had big heads full of lots of brain! It was a little nerve wracking, but we are so glad it was fine!
I got the boys' Halloween costumes the other day at a consignment shop. I think they'll be quite cute. I'm not revealing what they're going to be quite yet, but I am excited! I love Halloween!
The boys will be 10 months old next week! DOUBLE DIGITS- ahhhhhhh! I can't quite believe it! Sometimes I'm not sure where the time went! It goes by so fast! I'm starting to plan their birthday party. It will be December 7th, so mark your calendars! Their actual birthday is over Thanksgiving and we will be at the beach with the family!
Charlotte had three home ballgames this month! It was wonderful to watch the Niners play! The first two games went awesome. We blew out both teams. Then the last two weeks, we've gotten pummeled! It will get better! Win or lose, it's a fun time! We have really enjoyed this weekend of doing NOTHING! It was the first weekend in forever that we haven't had a ton of stuff to do. We also have the boys for the WHOLE weekend to ourselves. My parents have been awesome to keep the boys so much for us. We have weddings to attend the next two weekends, so Nana and Papa will be getting their boys back! One of these days life will slow down a little... Maybe!!
First game!
Uncle Jonathan came all the way from Texas!
Such big boys!
This makes early mornings not quite as bad!
Jack driving his new car.
Played until they passed out!
Learning to drive Legend Cars already with Papa!
William apparently LOVED driving and did NOT want to get out!
I think we're going to be in trouble with this one!
Well, I will post the boys 10 month pictures next week. We also plan to visit a pumpkin patch soon for some great photo ops!
Tie Wednesdays:
Twice as much to love, two blessings from above!!! :)
