Little Boys!

We finally got the boys' hair cut last week.  We said goodbye to mullets and hello to little boys! I still cannot get over how they look like boys now instead of babies.  Walking is their preferred method now too, which really makes them seem older.  They are becoming independent little people! It's wonderful in some ways, but makes me just a smidge sad because I know I won't go through the "baby" phase again.  Either way, they are HILARIOUS and make us laugh constantly!  Will's FAVORITE word is "ball."  It is the first thing he says when I get him up in the morning and last thing he says when I put him to bed.  Seriously.  Give the kid a ball of any type and he is thrilled.  They are both major pigs and love to eat.  It's pretty awesome not having to feed them with a spoon anymore.  That wasn't one of my favorite chores because we all ended up a mess.  They eat pretty much anything we put in front of them.  Will is more of a meat and carbs kinda guy and Jack loves cheese and fruit.  Jackson's current fave is mandarin oranges.  He gets so excited and double fists them into his mouth at warp speed.  It's entertaining!  Occasionally we are able to get outside (our weather is crazy!!!!!) and the boys love it.  They get absolutely filthy, eat dirt and rocks, and destroy their clothes.  It's awesome to watch them explore outside.  All the neighbors walking by keep commenting how big they have gotten.  It is pretty amazing how much they've changed. I cannot wait until this summer to spend more time with them.  We are going to have a blast!  Only a couple more months!

My friend, Shelley, celebrated her little girl, Alma's first birthday a couple weeks ago.  Shelley and I went to kindergarten together.  My other friend, Kristen, also grew up with us and just had a little girl in January.  Both Shelley and Kristen were my bridesmaids in our wedding.  We had to get a picture of us together since it's hard to get together these days.  It's crazy to think we all have kids now!  It's so much fun! I hope they'll all be great friends like we have been for so long!

Shelley, Alma, Kristen, Emily, me and my crazy boys! (They had fake hot dogs and french fries in their hands from Alma's new kitchen set- weirdos!)
Photo: Friends since childhood! Now we are all grown up with kids of our own!!!
Jack looks like he has a cigar in his mouth...

Photo: He's gonna be angry at me someday for this picture! :)
I had Will try on one of Alma's new hats. He was thrilled!

Kicked back with a bottle!

Playing outside:

Future center?

Future lineman?

Rainy day fun:

They had a lot of fun in the tubs of balls.  I'm still finding balls around the house, but it was worth it! :)

Jackson loved to bury himself.

William thought it was fun to bury himself too.

Haircuts:
Will went first!

Hair cut... Not thrilled, but looking handsome!

Jackson's Turn:

Not loving it...

Help, mommy!

The monster truck helped.

Hair cut certificates! They did a great job and gave them a certificate with a little lock of hair.

Sweet boys looking more grown up!

Post haircut fun in Birkdale:

William

William was feeling especially photogenic this particular morning.  Never got a picture of Jack that day.  He is drooling like a madman right now (tongue out too, lol).  He's also almost running everywhere, which creates blurry pics!

GQ William.
