So tonight, one year ago, I went to bed, feeling a little crampy, but that was the new norm. Then I woke up at 1:27 am with my water breaking! We rushed to the hospital and stayed there for 6 weeks until the boys were born. Then we had another month of going back and forth to see our little men grow in the hospital. Scariest time of my life! I can't believe that it's already been a year. Now we have two crazy kids that have changed our lives in the best way possible! We are so blessed with the way everything has turned out. The boys are thriving in so many ways.
Some of the boys' latest developments:
-pulling up on everything! (even me when I'm trying to use the bathroom)
-cruising (walking along things while holding on)
-Jack has gotten in one top tooth and the other is coming in too
-Will likes to growl at everything- quite funny!
-Pacifier wars- the boys never really cared for pacifiers until recently. Now they like to fight over them. One will have it in his mouth, the other will come over and rip it out, and so it goes, back and forth for a while. It's hilarious!
-Will learned to climb...
the stairs! Yikes! We finally made it to church this weekend! We figured out that our 8:00 service works great with the boys' schedule. As we were getting ready to go, we said, "Who would have ever thought we'd be going to the 8:00 service!?!?!" I remember having to roust Jason up to go to the 11:00 service! The boys were great in the nursery and the girl in there said they were the happiest babies she had ever seen! That made us feel great!
Jack saying "HI" while I'm watching football.
I thought Will looked like a DJ spinning some hot jams here.
Playing with a new basketball goal.
Slam dunk! We went through the boys toys yesterday and packed up a few boxes of things they've outgrown for the spring CMOMs sale. It was a little sad to remember some of the times they played with them, but it's so fun to watch them figure out new toys!
Chewing on a block. Trying hard to get those mean old teeth in!
Chilling with his monkey!
They love to dig through their toy basket and get ALL their toys out!
I was going to do some pics with the pumpkins after church, but the sun wasn't right. I was going to get some later, but it never happened!

Rocking the sweater vests for church!

"Cruising" along the gate.

I love to watch them play!

"Talking" to Lily. They get so excited when they see her and Izzy.
Having dinner with us at the Galway Hooker on a pretty fall night!
Bathtub fun!
We went to the pumpkin patch at Carrigan Farms last Sunday. I remember going there when I was a little kid. It was a great time going on a hayride and picking out our pumpkins. We will definitely be making this a yearly tradition. We were fortunate that my grandparents were in town from Alabama and able to join us, along with my mom, dad, and brother, and the Bleffers with their twins, Riley and Landon. We also ran into the Lees with Nolan! It was the place to be!
Hanging out before going to the patch! Had to try on our pumpkin beanies. They were a little small. Will helped Jack out and took his off!
Passed out!
Happy Jack!
BIG PUMPKINS!!!
Jack and Uncle Josh checking out the little pumpkins!
Poor Will was scared of pumpkins at first! He prevailed though and overcame his fear!
Waiting for the wagon!
High five, bro!
While waiting for the wagon, the boys entertained everyone. Will had a takedown!

Love baby butts in overalls!

Concentrating!

We've had a super busy Fall and this was the first weekend that we were able to just relax with the boys. It was wonderful! We are looking forward to Halloween with the boys. I also can't believe that they will be 11 months old on the 27th! I need to start planning their birthday party, I guess! We will have their party on December 7th since their birthday falls the day before Thanksgiving this year. We also plan on getting the boys baptized soon. Hopefully the same weekend as their birthday party since the family will be in town.
At the Barr's wedding on October 5th in Virginia.
We got a party bus for the wedding! Twenty of our closest friends on a bus= fun times!
The boys' hair is starting to get wild! I try to brush it, but it just does what it wants to do. From what I've heard, mine was the same way!

A year ago, I was in a totally different, very scary place, but it just goes to prove that with the power of prayer, everything will work out. We are truly blessed!
