Loving Life in February

Every once in a while I will think back to where we were a year ago.  The other night I was driving to meet mom to go to a consignment sale that I tried to go to last year at this same time and the boys went nuts and Jason was not too happy with me when I returned home.  This year I left the boys in the bathtub with Jason supervising.  Came home to the little guys WAY asleep and Jason almost there. Oh, how times have changed!  Things have definitely gotten easier! The boys sleep like champs, eat great, and are just hilarious to be around.  This time last year we were doing laps around the house trying to keep the boys somewhat calm during the "hell hour(s)" that we so fondly referred to it.  It's amazing how you forget how things were rough.  Even though the next day when I got Will up, he did have a black eye that just "happened" in the bathtub that night! :)   It's all good- it's just his third black eye! I have a feeling he will have A LOT.  He's definitely our wild and crazy kid!

Pigs! It's so fun to watch them eat! Will likes to shovel the food in and make a mess.  Jack doesn't make such a mess, but will eat pretty much anything!  It's awesome!

The boys in their wagon.  We have such crazy weather. One day it's freezing.  One day it's nice.  We love to get outside on the nice days!  They love their wagon!

I can't quite believe that the boys are fifteen months old now. We've come so far and I'm so proud of all us!  We went for the boys "real" year check-up last week and they are doing amazing!  They are meeting all their milestones and are great boys!   We were SO scared that they would have so many issues with all the problems I had during my pregnancy, but we've been so blessed that they are fine!  Both of them are moving and grooving now! They each walk around like mad men and it is crazy! I will see them both walk by me, and I'm like, "Did that just happen!?!?!" It's nuts.  Jack still walks like a T-Rex, but does laps constantly.  Will finally started walking more and walks pretty long distances now.  It's so fun!

I got to spend Valentine's Day with the boys since we had a snow day.  Here they were last year on Valentine's Day!

And....this year!

My sweet boys!  They have my whole heart!

The boys have discovered outside and LOVE it! They get upset if we take them back inside.  This spring and summer will be so much fun with them playing outside.  I have my eye out for some outdoor toys at upcoming consignment sales. It will be awesome to go out and play instead of just pushing the boys in the stroller multiple times a day!

At the lasts CMOM's sale I got the boys some push cars.  They love them. When they were in living room, Jack was sitting one, but Will couldn't let him sit all by himself!  Jack is so sweet and patient with his wild and crazy brother.  I think his face says it all here though!

We got a pretty decent snow this month.  It only happens every few years here, so I didn't really prepare with snow suits and boots, so we just improvised.  Lots of layers made the boys into mummies, but we did get some pictures!

Just standing in my train table drawer....

The shirts they had on that day didn't make it, so they wore their tie pjs.

One of my favorite Tie Wednesday pictures yet! My little men are growing up!

February was awesome! Looking forward to a fabulous March with the boys! :)

Growing up so fast!

It's been a while since I've updated this blog, so I thought I should! It was a wild and crazy January! The weather got a little nuts and I ended up with a couple days off to hang with the boys.  It was fun until... Will started barfing, then Jason, then me! Ugh! Jackson luckily never got the tummy bug that the rest of us had, but it was pretty miserable.  Luckily, I didn't have to make sub plans since I was out of school anyway!  We have pretty much recovered now from that, but now Will is getting in more teeth which has made him wake up a couple times at night screaming- not cool! He has one more bottom tooth that popped through last week, but more are definitely trying to appear!  Jack always has his hands in his mouth, but right now he still has six teeth.

Hand in mouth...always!

The biggest achievement lately is that Jack has started to do some full on walking! Will can take a few steps, but not quite as many as his brother.  It's so amazing to watch them grow up! They both love to dance now, which is really funny! They have a Little People airplane that they press the button that plays sound until it gets to the song, and they both dance.  Over. And. Over. And. OVER! It makes us laugh.

Jack pushing around some paper towels!

Walking from the train table to the bench.

Climbing on anything and everything!

Whatever it takes to get up...

Loving the empty diaper box!

Oh, just hanging in this drawer.

They have really started to interact with one another and play together.  It's so cute and I'm so happy they have one another.  The other night at dinner they were holding hands and just cracking up- so sweet!

Superman on Batman's ride.

I am Batman!

Will love this penguin.  He wrestles with him and throws him all around.

Will "walking"

Hi mommy!

Jack was sitting in his chair and I was going to take a picture, but then he decided to stand and walk toward me.  So exciting!

The CMOM's had their consignment sale this week, so that kept me busy.  Thursday Jason and I took the stuff down there, Friday I shopped, and Saturday I worked to earn my 90% profit! It was great to get rid of a lot of the stuff around the house that the boys had outgrown.  I also picked up some new summer clothes for the boys and a few toys.  I also got little cars that we can use to walk around with.  We tried them out yesterday in the house and the boys loved them! I love shopping consignment sales! There are a couple more coming up in the next month! Yahoo!

The boys are so much fun right now! It makes it hard to leave in the morning, but I appreciate the time I get to spend with them! They constantly make us laugh at the silly things they do.  I look forward to this summer and all the fun we will have!
